About Us
The Best Crew, The Best gear
My crew and I are all AV "lifers" who really love the job (even if our partners don't) and our standards for gear are high because we've seen what happens otherwise.
We spend most of our time in Hotel Ballrooms but also love to go into offices to convert them into cool event spaces, where everyone would normally have their tea.
We have a list of specialists (Audio, Video, Lighting, Livestreaming, Show calling) and all rounders with a stong no d@#%head policy. Only lovely peeps here.

Why don't you list your package prices?
Dodgy people in our industry have a reputation for adding on surprise fees at the last minute. That's because each customer has it's own specific process and listing out all of them would make for an extremely boring and complex website. We want our customers to know and understand what they're getting into. Quality work without bad surprises. If you use our form above we can deliver you a quote to your phone right away.
But Bill from accounting is a DJ and he says "we can use cheaper speakers"
Firstly, can we have Bills number, we are always looking for more DJs.
Secondly Bill has unlikely DJed in the same room that you are hosting your conference in and the speakers he would use I'm sure are great at being really loud, but are probably not suited for other applications, like spoken word.
Everyone is an expert at speakers or powerpoints or just computers in general, but we are professionals at using this equipment for this particular purpose. We know what we are doing, and again, if we need a DJ, we'll hit up Bill.
Is the equipment to buy or to hire?
Smooth AV is a full service Event Tech provider, our service includes installing the equipment, operating the equipment and removing the equipment after the event, so it is a hire. Afterwards it will be like we were never even there, if not for the great memories.
